University of Montana marks 120th birthday

MISSOULA - The University of Montana highlighted its founding 120 years ago with "Celebrate Academics on Charter Day" on Wednesday.
A new part of the celebrations this year featured a series of activities, including music, food, academic demonstrations and lessons by professors and students, as well as the annual Charter Day awards ceremony.
Ten recipients were recognized Wednesday evening for outstanding service to the campus and community.
