ROSWELL, NM - KRQE-TV in Albuquerque is reporting that New Mexico State Police have confirmed that a missing Roswell 6-year-old has been found safe in Lubbock, Texas.
Officials issued an Amber Alert for Roswell Elijah Reczek Monday after he was last seen around midnight Monday morning at 2711 South Emrald in Roswell.
His mother, Miranda Ann Aguilar, 30, who lives in Montana, is said to have taken the boy at gunpoint.
ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO - New Mexico State Police have issued an AMBER Alert based on information that 6-year-old Elijah Reczek may have been abducted at gunpoint by his mother, Miranda Ann Aguilar, and they may be headed to Montana.
Elijah was last seen at approximately 12 a.m. last night at his residence Roswell, New Mexico, when he was taken from his residence at gunpoint by Aguilar, who lives in Montana. We do not yet know where in Montana she lives.
Aguilar is 30 years old and is described as a Native American female who stands 5'4", weighs 115 pounds, and has long black hair.
A female friend, Renee Denke, was also reportedly with Aguilar. Denke is a Native American female who stands 5'7" weighs 140 pounds and has light brown hair. Denke was last seen wearing jeans and a light colored sweater. There was also a male accomplice present, either Native American or Hispanic descent, with short black hair.
Authorities believe that the child is in danger due to the circumstances involving his abduction.
