UPDATE:
We've just spoken to Lincoln County Sheriff Roby Bowe who confirms CEO of Stinger Welding, Inc. Carl Douglas died after his plane crashed last night. His passenger, John Smith, a driver for the company also died in the crash. The men were returning from Arizona. The Sheriff's Department plans to recover both bodies as soon as weather permits.
LIBBY - According to The Western News, the small private plane belonging to a missing company CEO has been found, but there's no confirmation whether bodies were also found.
Carl Douglas, CEO of Stinger Welding, Inc., was reported missing Wednesday morning when he didn't arrive to a meeting. Douglas was piloting his private twin-engine Beechcraft King Air.
A Facebook post from The Western News says Douglas' plane was found in William's Gulch, on top of Swede Mountain, with an intact tail section but otherwise very damaged.
