There is more help coming to battle the 9,504 acres Lolo Creek Complex fire.
Congressman Steve Daines announced during a Friday morning briefing with incident commanders that the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be picking up a portion of the firefighting costs, which are already estimated at $2.8 million.
Fire managers also said during the briefing at the Lolo Community Center that the east containment line, which is the one closest to the center of Lolo is holding strong.
Additionally, although the rain that moved through the area early Friday wasn't heavy, it did cover all of blaze.
