Vandals strike on MSU campus

BOZEMAN - Montana State University police are searching for the people responsible for vandalizing Willson Hall sometime between midnight and 2:40 a.m. Wednesday.

According MSU's police chief, the vandals emptied five fire extinguishers, covering about 80 percent of the inside of the building with a fine powder. Cleaning crews were called in immediately and had the building clean by the time the building opening Wednesday morning.

The vandals also knocked over some potted plants, spreading dirt around and stole a print that was hanging in the history department.

Police say this kind of vandalism is unusual on campus.
