BILLINGS - Authorities have identified David Martin of Billings as the man who died following a crash on the Rims on Tuesday.
Martin was 55-years-old.
The crash happened at around 11:30 a.m. when a vehicle crashed into Martin's motorcycle from behind near the intersection of Highway 3 and Southview Drive.
The car was driven by a 36-year-old woman from Shepherd.
According to reports, she rear-ended the Harley Davidson motorcycle, which threw Martin of and into a barrow pit.
Both the vehicle and the motorcycle were heading west at the time.
Martin was rushed by ambulance to Billings Clinic, where he was later pronounced dead.
Billings Police Lieutenant Kevin Iffland says the investigation into the crash is continuing.
