GREAT FALLS - Authorities have identified Laura McKamey of Shelby, 55, as the woman who died in a multi-vehicle crash near Sunburst on Monday.
Meanwhile, all four occupants of the school van that was involved in the crash have been released from medical care.
An ambulance driver received several stitches to his forehead and one man remains hospitalized and is expected to be released within the next day or two.
A dried-out field combined with high winds is blamed for the crash. Low visibility was caused by an alkali patch driven by powerful winds.
Trooper Mike Jenson with the Montana Highway Patrol said that most of the vehicles slowed down due to the near-zero visibility in the area, but one passenger car came to a stop.
Jenson says that McKamey was rear-ended by a semi-truck and died on scene.
