The first significant winter storm of 2013 is expected to create headaches for commuters over the next 36 hours with 3-6 inches of snow expected for your Thursday. An additional 1-3 inches is possible for Friday with 1-2 feet of snow along many of the mountain ranges. Temperatures are expected to fall throughout the day as a powerful cold front slices through Southwest Montana leaving snow-covered roads and icy conditions in its wake.
