Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for SW Montana East of the divide from midnight tonight to 9pm on Monday.
Widespread light snow will develop over SW Montana tonight and Monday. Roads may become icy and very slick causing moderate impacts for holiday travel.
Snow accumulations of 1"-3" are expected for the lower valleys. 3" to 5" will fall in the higher valleys and 4"-8" over the mountain passes.
Visibility will be reduced at times to one to three miles.
Areas impacted: White Sulphur Springs, Battle Ridge Pass, Bozeman, Bozeman Pass, Targhee Pass, West Yellowstone, Boulder, Boulder Hill, Elk Park Pass, Homestake Pass, Whitehall, Townsend, Big H ole Pass, Chief Joseph Pass, Dillon, Monida Pass, Ennis, Norris Hill, Raynolds Pass and Twin Bridges. There are Winter Weather Advisories extended up through central Montana including Lewistown to Great Falls to Helena and MacDonald Pass.
