Winter Weather Advisory is up for Montana West of the Continental Divide between 11 p.m. Saturday to 11 a.m. Sunday.

A strong cold front will move through the state late Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning from west to east.

Snow accumulations of 7"-12" is possible above 5,000' and will impact all mountain passes locally. Slushy roads will quickly freeze, making travel very difficult as rain will change to snow Saturday night into Sunday morning.

We are waiting for the afternoon weather forecast package from the Great Falls NWS and most likely there will be additional advisories issued for SW Montana east of the divide as well.
