Winter weather advisory continues for west central, northwest and central Montana counties including a few here in SW Montana mostly north of I-90.
Locally included in the advisory are: Boulder and Boulder Hill, Elk Park, Helena, MacDonald pass and White Sulphur Springs.
The advisories are in effect through 6am Wednesday.
Snow accumulations: 2"-4" are possible at lower elevations and over the mountain passes up to 6" could fall overnight tonight. Heaviest snow bans should develop along and south of Highway 200 corridor from Augusta to Lewistown.
Visibilities will be reduced at times to less than one mile.
Travel will be hampered by snow covered roads and reduced visibilities. Roads that are wet could become icy. Hunters and outdoor enthusiasts should be prepared for winter conditions.
