HELENA - It took some time, but eventually the news became official- Senator Jon Tester defeated Republican challenger Denny Rehberg in the U.S. Senate race, 49% to 45%. Now he's headed back to Washington, DC for a second term.

GREAT FALLS- With 71% of precincts in Montana fully reported, U.S. Senator Jon Tester is declaring victory in his run for re-election to the U.S. Senate.
Tester is holding a 9:30 a.m. news conference in Great Falls Wednesday at the Holiday Inn on 10th Avenue South.
